Dear Imatron Alums -

I'm a Massachusetts-based recruiter in search of highly talented candidates to fulfill positions for a client of mine that's a long-time player in the imaging technology business (medical & security applications)

Here are several needs, almost all with the same client:

Directors (2) of CT Image Reconstruction (one for medical products, one for security products). Looking for MS/PhD with sufficient skill to manage the implementation of computed tomography (CT) image reconstruction and detection algorithms . They would develop on-line implementations of algorithms for image reconstruction, automated threat detection and service tools. Specify hardware platforms for algorithms. (Among other things) ....

There are several SW Engineering positions open that would report to the director that are also available, doing algorithm development and embedded systems work (MS & PhD's).

Program Manager.... to drive imaging product development (CT, PET, MRI or NM technologies) - from the concept development phase through to customer installation....$500k systems of some complexity . This person will be an ME or EE coming from design roots.

A Hardware Manager will be someone to pull together a group of EE's, ME's, and SW Engineers who have not hitherto been used to working interdependently. Here, there is less focus on the imaging technology, and more on the change-agent & implementation element of this position.

Applications Engineering Specialist - has worked with Medical Imaging technology. Someone with a travel-laden schedule who'd like to travel less, but likes the interaction with end user medical personnel that use and maintain the equipment, and the client's engineers working to create products to fulfill the clients changing needs.

My client is an established player in the medical imaging/security technology business, and are branching out from purely OEM business to more end user involvement. So, they are growing and changing, offering opportunities with high visiblity.

I hope this reminds you of someone. Feel free to share the information with whomever you think benefit from know ing more about it.

All the best.
