I saw an open position on their website that looked like a great fit for my skills. Would anyone happen to know someone that works down there? I submitted my resume, but it might be difficult to get noticed unless I can get a recommendation. Related link: Varian Medical Systems |

Hi Art,
One of Imatron's Customer Service Engineers (in Tech Support) quit 2 or 3 years ago and went to work for Varion. He was a really good Tech Support person and his new position at Varian was to be Field Service/Engineering liason. Unfortunately, I can't recall his name! Maybe it will come to me, but until then you could try contacting Ray Wells or someone in Service. I don't know if he still works there. Hope all's well. Evelyn |

Could it be Ahmad? I only remember the first name. The tech support that used to work at Imatron from Toshiba. |

Sorry about the late response, but yes - Ahmad Alayoubi. I have known him for about 15 years, first with Toshiba Medical then with Tron. He joined Tron Tech Support in about '96 and left in 2000. He's now with Varian working on linear accelerators for cancer theray in the Plao Alto area. A really good man.
