Does any one know have any news of Micheal Palmroos? I hope he did not go back home? I have been really enjoying spending some ten hours a day learnin and test Windows 2000 Server with Active Directory. It is a formidable tool to administer systems. I am taking a lots of simulation test as I am planning on taking my certification on that some time soon. I have some leads for work even if my priority is to get up to speed with Exchange 2003 server and also W2K Server. I miss you guys and I sure hope to see you soon. I was not able to come to the party as I had flew to NYC to see of my friends.

Last I heard a week ago, Faruk had been offered a position in Milwaukee, so it looks like he will be going back there, since GE is in the process of doing his green card, and he wants to work on his Master's program. He still would prefer to stay in SF if possible. |

Thanks Mary. I am glad things are coming along well for Faruk. I know about wanting to stay in SF. I have been "stuck" here for 11 years...How are you doing? Are you still in Imatron or have you kissed it goodbye? I hope you are doing well.

I have Michael's email address, if you're interested in contacting him: He told me the other day that they're moving to San Diego so that he can work for his previous employer. Looks like he will be staying here in the US, but not in this area unfortunately.

Hi Malek, I saw Michael Palmroos this week at work. He's been around a few times. He's even brought his daughter into the office! Haven't had a chance to talk to him as I barely have time to chat. Hi Malek, I've heard that Tom Sanders landed a job at Stanford University and started work last week. Good for him! Tony called me and Frank into a meeting two Fridays ago and told us he has a "need" for us and is extending our stay until April. Told him I have vacation plans in March already. He says to go ahead and take vacation days. I think perhaps he were too optimistic that we could get all the things that need to be done before we leave. Told him I will do the best I can for him through this transition. I still don't know if Tony has an end date for himself. This Friday was another difficult day for us as we saw another group of people leaving GE Imatron. I'll bet the workplace tomorrow will be more of a ghost town than ever! Hope you and everyone are doing well. Please continue to keep in contact with everyone!
