I had just found out about this site today, so my apologies for not being able to send this out before now. First though, I would like to thank and congratulate Art on setting this site up. As you already know, Imatron culture has changed all of us and the fact that this site is up says it all. I would also say how sorry I am that not only the technology, but the culture and its devoted employees have been scattered to the four winds by GE. For those that do not know me, I worked at "The Tron" from 1991 to 2000. I managed to miss the sadness that followed 2 years later and earlier this year. I started out in manufacturing working for Bill O. and later transferred to Software Engineering and worked for Susan C. I currently work for a company called Affymetrix. I wil not bore you with what it is about, but if you are interested, you can look it up at Affymetrix.com. I miss the atmosphere and culture that was and in some respects still is Imatron. For all those that knew me and want to chat, please shoot me a email. Hope all displaced people of The Tron find jobs as special as working at Imatron was. Breck |

Hi Breck, You are so correct about how the Imatron culture has touched us all in one way or another. That was a special place and a special bunch of people. I was in Production Control from 95-2002 working for first Martin Grimm, then Fred Onishi. I too miss the atmosphere and culture. Take care,
